The Industrial Facilities Technician is responsible for general cleaning and upkeep, including
painting of all equipment and production areas. In addition, he or she is responsible for any
other task the Plant Manager deems necessary.
Essential Functions:
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Communicate effectively with all Team Members
• Running floor cleaner as needed
• Mopping, sweeping and cleaning floors, walls and equipment
• Collecting all trash hoppers in and around the facility twice a day and disposing of trash properly
• Inspect the exterior grounds on a weekly basis for litter, appearance, hazards, etc. Notify appropriate personnel of any required actions, if necessary.
• Painting as needed (walkways, railings, floors, etc.)
• Monitor and empty dust collectors
• Replace receptacles for recycling when full. Stage full receptacles in appropriate area.
• Maintain oil/material catch cans
• Stock shelves at mixer stations (gloves, dust masks, tape, etc.)
• Clean returnable drum plates as needed.
