Extrusion Operator

2nd or 3rd shift (Training will take place on 1st shift)

Responsibilities:
-Oversee and coordinate daily production activities
-Set up and operate production equipment
-Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality
-Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
-Maintain accurate production records and reports

Requirements
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Must have proven experience as a lead operator of a twin screw extruder for compounding extrusion
-Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment operation
-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
-Ability to work well in a team environment and lead by example
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
-Must be able to lift 55lbs regularly
-Must be able to work around a hot extruder in an unconditioned plant environment.
