A neck ring is a metal ring that attaches to the top of a high-pressure gas cylinder, providing a secure mounting point for a valve protection device like a cap or guard, essentially acting as a safety feature to prevent damage to the cylinder valve while in storage or transport; it often bears identification information like the cylinder owner's name or other relevant details. The neck ring plays an important role in the safety of the high pressure gas cylinder, in withstanding gas pressure and preventing a gas leak.
Will be responsible for removing and installing new neck rings and add the customer’s new information in the event of cylinder ownership change.
Physical Requirements:
Physical job demands include but are not limited to bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching over head, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds, and climbing ladders or stairs.
