Job Purpose:
Manage a strategic business plan and execute all sales activities for a line of products. Provide input and actively participate in the planning, technical development, and marketing of the line to generate revenue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner by: determining market and pricing strategies and developing lists of potential customers; doing research to determine needs of each customer; identifying product and service gaps in our current capabilities and developing action plans to address them; following up on sales leads and developing leads; maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets; establishing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales; working with sales and engineering staff to maximize sales opportunities.
• Close new and existing customer sales in a professional and effective manner by: developing & delivering sales presentations/proposals; developing technical presentations and workshops; maintaining up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends and government regulations; making regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads; acting to close deals and finalize contacts; developing and managing customer onboarding process and installation training; coordinating installation training lead schedule and responsibilities to best meet customer and organizational needs
• Sales forecasting and planning by researching, developing, and maintaining long- and short-range sales and marketing plans; establishing sales metrics to identify trends and producing regular reports of results; monitoring, analyzing, and communicating sales data to contribute to product/service planning.
• Efficiently manage area(s) of responsibility to successfully meet established monthly sales targets and revenue goals.
• Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of the company: communicating openly, honestly, and constructively; treating all colleagues and customers with dignity, respect, and courtesy; taking responsibility for resolving concerns and problems.
• Lead sales team by training, mentoring, and managing inside and outside Sales Reps to build capable and effective sales team; managing sales process, activity tracking, and team accountability to ensure team goals achieved; defining, implementing, and continuously improving team sales processes from lead identification to ongoing account management and growth; managing team accountability to sales process.
Education/Experience:
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Business Administration or related field of study or equivalent experience. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in business-to-business sales.

Relationship and Roles:
• This position will report directly to the General Manager.
• As revenues grow, this position will hire and supervise a sales team.
• Interacts with customers, vendors, all levels of Company leaders, and others as needed.
Travel Requirements:
This position will require travel.
